About
Niketa Calame - Founder - is from Los Angeles, California. She is most noted as the voice of Young Nala in Disney's classic film The Lion King. She received her Masters of Fine Arts degree from The Actors Studio @ New School University in New York and her BA degree in Theater from UC Santa Cruz. She has been teaching acting for 10 + years and her students have gone on to book professional Film,Commercial,Theater and voice over projects. She started In Motion as a private acting coaching business but has also been hired to conduct acting workshops at universities and for private groups.
Being that Niketa was a child actor she has a wealth of knowledge for young actors and their parents to get started in the entertainment industry as well as teaching the craft of acting.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My current student just started in the industry. She wanted to get started in voice overs. We worked on some of signature voices, got her headshots, recorded some demo reel voice and signed her up on an online submission service so she can start getting gig auditions without an agent. She has already submitted her 3rd audition. Super proud of her. She is in her 60s. Never feel it is too late to start a new career.
