About
My satisfaction comes from seeing REAL progress in a student based on working together toward a common goal. I've been teaching guitar for over 45 years. My guitar work has been published by established companies such TrueFire, Warner Publishing, Alfred Publishing, Hal Leonard, Mel Bay, Acoustic Guitar Magazine. In 2017 Guitar Player magazine listed me as one of the 50 transcendent superheroes of the acoustic guitar. I've shared the stage with such greats as Leo Kottke, Tommy Emmanuel, Eric Johnson, Sergio Assad, Andy McKee, Stef Burns and David Tanenbaum.
I feel great when I see and hear a student making true progress. I also love to see any of my students recording a good video of one of the instrumentals studied together and post them on YouTube! My work is to transfer my passion and love for the guitar to my students of all ages and musical background.
