What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Because my partners and I work with young children mostly, we love to talk first to their parents and then to the student to find out what they are interested in. Next we find out what kind of learner the child is.Lastly we invite the child to be a co-creator in their learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Andrea is the mother of two. She is a professional singer, entertainer and children's song writer. She has a BSW and several other certifications and licenses. Andrea has been running her own business for 20 years in the bay area and has worked and performed in hundreds of locals in the last 30 years on both the East and West coasts.

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching gymnastics in highschool at the local middle school. I have been teaching one thing or another ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of student in various subjects from infants to adults in the states and over seas.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The latest events this year I have shared my music at have been National Night Out, an orphanage in Mexico, The International Bay Area Children's Film Festival by Pixar writers and the fundraising gala at the Bay Area Discovery Museum.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is always good to feel comfortable with your teacher. Be sure they are open to knowing you as a person so they can keep learning exciting, successful and enjoyable for you.
