I am a working actor, writer and director. I received my BA in Film, Theatre and Humanities from USC, my MFA in Acting from UCLA. I've studied at RADA, also with Roy London (master class), Ivanna Chubbuk (master class), Margie Haber (master class), Mel Shapiro (master class), Salome Jens (master class), Judith Westin (acting, directing) among many others. I am a private acting coach, founder of non profit theatre company BDLD, taught at Cooper Studio, UCLA, USC and currently doing privates and teaching at Pierce College, WLA College and AVC.
Bio:
Nicholas Guilak garnered the Laura Pell’s Scholarship for great achievements in Acting. Being a strong advocate of the stage, he and fellow colleagues created the Los Angeles based non-profit theatre company, Big Dog Little Dog Productions. Nico has been fortunate to play in over forty-eight different stage productions around the globe including Glengarry Glen Ross, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, A Lie of the Mind, Hedda Gabler, Homesteaders, Twelfth Night, The Misanthrope, Three Sisters, The Rover, Baal among others.His film credits include American Fighter, Think Like a Man Too, Cradle Swapping, 1979 Revolution, American Wrestler,Laleh, The Lost Weekend, His Secret Family, A Concsious Mind, Retribution, Of God and Kings, Solar Flight, The Lost Room, The Exquisite Continent, Delta Farce, In Search of America, Inshallah, Got Papers, Double Deception, Two Coyotes, Will Unplugged, Let the Devil Wear Black, Cruel Intention2 among others. His television credits include Ray Donovan, Saving Jessica Lynch, Bones, Homeland Security, NCIS, 24, Chuck, HawthoRNe, Dark Blue, Las Vegas, CSI:Miami, NCIS:LA, The Agency, JAG, She Spies, Threat Matrix, Jane Doe, War Stories among others.
