I love working with new students, and getting to know wonderful people as I teach. I love watching your progress!
In every class, Bea was always concerned not only about improving our writing and reading skills, but also about our communication and debate habilities in and outside the class, which was very important for us to learn about the other foreign students’ cultures and to present ours to them. For Bea, respecting each other was the most important rule in class and it was perfectly applied. Besides that, she was very knowledgeable about her subject and has great speaking habilities. I would recommend her for anyone I know who needed English lessons.
I assess their needs first and foremost. Do they need help getting out of their shell? Are they a beginner with no experience? Are they focused on Business-only English?
Afterwards, I try a series of activities to see which kind of learner they are: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.
Each student requires their own set of lessons, because no student is the same and no student learns the same exact way.
I have worked privately as a tutor since 2013.
I also have a CELTA which I graduated with great grades and a proud smile on.
Since then, I taught in Peru for several months, and later taught in the United States, for Ardmore Language School as well as private lessons.
I price accordingly to what the student's needs and demands of my time will be, but I generally keep within the 20-40 dollars hour range.
It's always been a passion of mine. I taught my peers in school when I was learning English, then I began to teach it in 2013 to a private student from Brazil.
I've worked with children as young as 3 and seniors as old as 70. I had one special needs student. I have worked with students from every background, gender, religious belief and financial needs.
Will I benefit from this person? Are they open to teach me what they know? How can they bring more into my life?
