Online Jezpokili Painting And Air Clay Sculpture Lessons
About
I have painted and done sculpture for over 25 years. My specialty is Acrylic painting and my other love is Ceramic art. I also love Assemblage Art and Digital Art developing.
My experience speaks for itself, I am patient and willing to help others figure out the direction they want to take. Working online, we have to be very skillful in how we communicate to be able to connect and inspire others.
They say that you should do what you love so you never have to work a day of your life. My art is part of who I am, I have developed voice and style.
The reason I teach is because of that very reason: finding a voice in others. To help others find their voice and to enjoy making as much as I do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to first have a conversation with my students and see what level of knowledge they already have. Based on this, I can figure out the level of complexity of the projects we work on.
once we have spoken about prior experience on the students part, I like to discuss next what are their expectations and importantly what projects they may have in mind.
For those intimidated by the process, I have created easy to follow DIY Canvas paintings + paint kits.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught art for over 10 years and practiced art for more than 25 years.
My experience involves more than just painting and sculpture. Apart from the subjects already mentioned, I have worked embroidery, assemblage art , jewelry beading, wall installations/murals, carving.
That weakth of knowledge leaves the door open to help students explore multiple mediums they may be curious about.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I like to make sure my students enjoy the process and get best the possible outcome. My hourly is $45 per 1 hour session, I provide a materials list and sources to acquire them.
I also have painting kits available.
How did you get started teaching?
I started using my skills on a very basic manner, teaching kids in our family and then their own playmates. What followed is teaching on a studio level.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught children and adults alike. I am able to teach from beginner to intermediate skills and am available to mentor more advanced student artists.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am currently working with a lady who wants to create a gargoyle sculpture. She has no prior experience, we are having fun figuring out the armature methods and texturing she may need to get the effect she likes. Next are the color finish that will make it come to life.
Creating should always be an interesting exploration of our thoughts and prior experience.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would suggest 3 things:
1. What is their expertise/style and if it's the right direction for your own projects.
2. Do they work actively as artists or not
3. What is their availability and hours.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. You will achieve expertise based on the time you dedicate to the subject. What are your expectations?
2. Art can be relaxing but also a source to develop a voice. What is your intent? Develop a voice? Or simply relax?
3. If you want to develop ideas scribble them down on a book journal. We can discuss how to achieve them.
