Hi! My name is Lydia. I've been teaching lessons for 4 years and I love teaching! I'm in the entertainment industry and developed a passion for passing on information that I've learned throughout my career as an independent artist. I'm a very outgoing and happy person that loves to laugh. My goals as your teacher are to help learn while enjoying your lessons. Whether you want to learn for fun or learn for your career, I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before working with a new student I always have a meeting about goals and preferences. I tailor each curriculum to each student's specific goals and needs.
I have each prospective student fill out a detailed questionnaire about their experience and goals.
Every first lesson I'll have my student sing and tell me about themselves just to get an idea of what level they are at and I proceed from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a classically trained pianist as well as a professional singer. I've been performing Live as a singer and a studio session singer for almost 10 years now. Ive worked with Mike Posner, Ledisi, Ariana Grande, Moby and many others. I've also been a session singer for TV shows, Commercials and Film Trailers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?
Many people would see me perform or meet me after shows and ask if I taught lessons as well. After awhile I just decided to just share the knowledge I was taught to help other people get the most out of their voices.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
As a new student I'd figure out where my weakest areas are and find a teacher that has the most expertise in that area. Definitely meet with them first (before money is exchanged) and see if you like them as well! =)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do you want to sing for fun or professionally? is a very important question and will definitely determine what your path should be.
