What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first find out what the student is looking to achieve. Then watch the student while they are hitting a few balls to see what we must working to reach their goals. Then we set up a plan to achive the goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am PGA Professional for over 30 years. I have had all ranges of students from the beginner to the advance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lesson fee is $60 for 35 to 45 minutes. I will do a package of 4 lessons for $210.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teach when I starting working as a golf professional in 1980.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all levels of students from beginner to advance.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just love to watch the smiles come onto my students faces when they see what happens during the lessons. That is so exciting to see and rewarding.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Have a list of questions that you would like answered by the instructor. Then see if the answers are ones that fit what you are looking for.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Understand what their would like to achieve from taking lessons. Have a list of their weaknesses and what they feel they do the best.
