Rooted Breath: Yoga And Doula Services
About
Welcome! My name is Megan Hannan. I’m a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher, RYT200, DONA certified birth doula, CD(DONA), and writer.
Yoga has been my grounding “me time” since I first attended a class in 2012. It helps me find my calm, no matter what else life throws at me, and I can’t wait to share that feeling as a teacher. I became a RYT200 in 2016, and enjoy teaching restorative and align classes.
Yoga (asana – or the physical poses) is an amazing practice that can strengthen the body, relax the mind, and restore the spirit. It can relieve day-to-day stress, and give you the tools to handle bigger stressors as they arise. It can help you gain flexibility, strength, and is great cross-training for a variety of sports.
We can structure lessons as you would find a class in a studio, offer an introduction to the basic poses and their proper alignment, or work towards a pose of your choice. Let me know your goals!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Restorative or hatha yoga – with or without meditation; I enjoy sharing a mindfully paced practice with anyone eager to learn. We can structure lessons as you would find a class in a studio, offer an introduction to the basic poses and their proper alignment, or work towards a pose of your choice. Let me know your goals, and we'll design a class just for you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a RYT-200 with a Yoga Alliance certified yoga school.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My hourly rate ranges from $40 – 60 depending on what you are looking for, whether it is for a private or small group, and if you are providing the space or I am. I have space available at certain times in Parker, CO.
I do offer a discounted private package of 5 classes for $150. I also offer a one time introduction class where we review the most common poses and their proper alignment for $25.
How did you get started teaching?
I found yoga after the birth of my daughter, when I was looking to reconnect with my body and find time that was just for me. By the time the first class was over, I knew that I was hooked! As the years went by I realized that yoga grows with the person, and no matter what your goals, you can find a way to progress. I came to realize that I wanted to share my passion for yoga with others, and that's when I took my teacher training.
