About

I've been tutoring for 10 years. I've had experience working with students in both individual and group settings on a variety of STEM topics. I've taught students with a vast array of learning styles. I'm also an MIT alum and received both my masters and bachelors from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Most importantly though, I craft my lessons for students around what THEIR passions and learning styles are!

I enjoy using different methods to ensure that students understand what they're learning and all the applications from it. I also really enjoy the experience of seeing students during their ah-ha moments!

She had a clear plan of learning goals for our child and understood how to achieve them with her. She is more than a tutor, but a mentor.

Frequently asked questions

During the first meeting, I will try explaining the material in a bunch of different learning styles. I encourage students to tell me everything they know when attempting a problem, and ask them to tell me when they don't understand something. I usually have a clear understanding of their learning style by the end of that first session, and I modify my lessons for the future accordingly.

I'm a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I've scored a perfect score on the Math part of the SAT and on the Math II SAT Subject test. I've also had 8 EECS internships in various roles such as Software Engineering, AI/Machine Learning, Consulting, Cybersecurity, and Product Management at big companies such as IBM and Microsoft. I've also worked on tons of different side projects and participated in lots of Hackathons throughout high school and college.

My rate depends on the student's situation.

I started tutoring students in high school, because I wanted to give back to my community. I've since continued working with students from all over the country helping them with Math, Coding, Computer Science, Physics, and Public Speaking.

I've worked with students and adults from age 7-55+ from across the nation who need help or want to further advance their knowledge in Math, Coding, Computer Science, Physics and Public Speaking. I've helped students with a variety of learning styles, as well as students with learning disabilities.

Look for a teacher who has multiple years of experience and can change their teaching style to match the student's learning style. Also look for teachers who provide customized curriculums (like myself) such that students can have the best personalized learning experience.

What step do you get stuck on? If you are having trouble on how to start the problem, write down what you would do if you had to guess, and explain the reason why. That way, teachers/tutors can understand what you are thinking and help guide you in being able to solve those problems.
