About
I'm an intelligent soccer, track and strength and conditioning coach and was a late bloomer that had to develop innovative training methods for myself in order to rise to collegiate and professional soccer levels.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student in any sport or setting, I use a generic training session or workout to gague the students ability level and fitness. From there, I am able to develop a tailor made plan to help my student achieve his or her goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am now entering my 7th year of coaching. I have my United States Soccer Federation E License. From 2015-2016, I was certified to coach high school soccer and track in Connecticut while coaching for New Canaan High School. During the 2016-2017 school year, I received soccer coach training on dozens of occasions as an employee of Success Academy Charter Schools. I combine these coaching experiences with my experience training for and playing professional soccer to help my soccer, track, strength and conditioning and nutrition clients achieve their maximum potential.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $100 per hour for 1 on 1 soccer lessons, $80 per hour for 1 on 1 strength and conditioning lessons and $50 per hour for 1 on 1 track or stretching lessons. I decrease the cost per additional student in each type of lessons. My nutrition lessons are usually written out as plans and price depends on the duration of instruction and the level of detail included in the nutritional plan. I follow the same system for workout plans as well (both running and lifting).
How did you get started teaching?
I began coaching soccer in 2011 while I was playing soccer for St. Thomas Aquinas College. My college coach was the Director of Coaching at Ramapo Valley Soccer Club and thought that I had good communication skills and would set a good example for younger players. As time went on, I progressively added additional facets to my coaching career, passing on my personal training methods onto other athletes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students as young as 3 up to senior citizen age. I work with boys and girls, men and women and have worked with students of every race and many different religions. I will work with any student that has a desire to improve on something.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
In 2016, I helped lead an 800m Boys SMR (Sprint Medley Relay) to New Balance Outdoor Nationals. These boys had no idea that they were capable of accomplishing this and qutie frankly, neither was I when I started coaching them. I am very proud of this because I was able to help these boys achieve something few high school athletes do, all in my first season of coaching high school track.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My best advice for a student looking to hire a teacher in my areas of expertise is to look for results. The student should look at what the teacher has accomplished in that discipline and what results they have helped previous students achieve.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Examples of questions that students should think through before talking to teachers about their needs include, "How many days per week should we train together in order for me to achieve my goals?", "What should I do on days I do not have formal training with a teacher?" and most importantly "What are my goals?". Students need to remember that private teachers are hired to service the student's needs. The student and/or parent/guardian needs to be vocal about their goals and the teacher will help facilitate growth towards these goals.
