I teach Open Level Vinyasa, Yin & Ashtanga Yoga classes. I also give lessons to Post Physical Therapy Joint Replacement patients looking for more than just a PT session to broaden their joint replacement area to its original desire. I teach individual & group yoga classes, including Meditation & deep joint mobility. I have 3 yoga certifications & Reiki 1 & Reiki 2 Certifications. I am CPR Certified. I received my certifications from Kaia Yoga & Jiiva Yoga. I teach at Univ. of Bridgeport & Jiiva Yoga. I am a member of the Yoga Alliance.
I enjoy seeing peoples health improve thru yoga.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out if & when they have taken yoga & at what level they are presently at. I inquire about any injuries they may have & find out their limitations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my 200 Hour Training Certification & a Certification in Yin & Ashtanga. I completed 350 hours of yoga classes during my training as a teacher. I am in the process of taking my 300 Hour Teacher Training Module in addition to my 200 Hour Training.
How did you get started teaching?
I started taking yoga 25 years ago & became deeply involved about 5 years ago. I always wanted to teach & finally had the opportunity to get my 200 hour training.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from High School level up to senior citizens.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was involved in the Earth Day Event at Univ. of Bridgeport where vendors came to show their support for the Earth, Organic displays & various other suppliers & vendors supporting Earth Day. I have also lead numerous Yoga Partners Workshops lead by myself & Prof. Oropell from UB.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would attend a few classes at different levels to see how you can endure the class intensiveness & regimend.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do I want to try yoga? What limitations do I have? What experience do I have? What injuries do I have which prevent me from performing at capacity?
