About
I have been a Martial Arts instructor for over 10 years. In teaching classes, you have to be in front of parents and students for hours without a break. I am also a Real Estate agent which leads me to being in the public eye and further bolsters mynsoeaking experience. Speaking in public really comes down to how often you practice, and how much you care about your subject. Work with me and I will help you discover the WHY, which will lead you to better results!
I absolutely adore being on stage and speaking in front of people. I'm hoping to transfer that enthusiasm to anyone who is willing to learn! I first performed a bit role in a school play and though it was nerve wracking, the truth is, I loved it. There's a feeling g that only comes when you get a room full of people to hear your point of view. Many are wary of being in front because they worry about what everyone thinks of them. The truth is, everyone is constantly thinking about themselves, even when you're speaking to them. Realize that first and you're golden!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I interview the student and find who they are, what they want to speak about, and whats in it for them.
Then, we can start by finding what the student is most comfortable talking about, explaining.
Finally, we start to practice the stiatuon that the person will be speaking in, substituting the favorite subject with the real subject. Slowly, we start to instroduce the material they have to practice until they are practicing the subject material only.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a natural speaker. As for professional experience, I was formerly the head instructor of a Martial Arts School. Everyday, (worked six days a week) I was in front of students and parents, communicating not only kicks and punches but life lessons. Everyword was important and HOW they were said is intended to keep parents and students engaged. I have also spoken the Word during Mass many times.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Why are you doing this?
2. What message are you trying to put out?
3. If you HAVE to do this, what is the goal you are trying to attain?
4. If its a graded presentation, what is it your professor is looking for? (theres always a battery of things they're looking for)
