We have been helping musicians, music artists, and songwriters lead more productive and successful lives for over 20 years. We consult with them, help them learn through the process of doing, and then walk with them down roads of marketing their music.
We want to do more than just teach music, or record people, we like to be a guide for long music careers. So we enjoy helping people design and implement a music career that makes sense for them.

High school students or anyone trying to decide to study music seriously (college/conservatory/etc), OR just live a productive and fun music life. Sometimes these things go together, and sometimes they do not. We’ll approach a music life through both sides of this glass.
Wanting to start a music brand:
This is something we have been doing for clients for 25+ years, so we can definitely help you take your career to the next level.
Original Music written just for you:
Play an original song composed for your particular skill level in the style you want. Let’s create a masterpiece!
We can also just help you play the piano, but in a fun and unique way, on your terms. But it will also help you get gigs as a player, or play at church or with friends.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We talk by phone or email first, then plan our first lesson. In our initial call, we go over what the student has done before musically, and what their goals are. Then we focus on what specific things we will be working on in our lessons together.

Masters in Music (Composition) - University of Central Florida
Bachelors in Music (Music History/Music Business) - Middle Tennessee State University

How did you get started teaching?
Have been teaching for over 25 years as part of our consulting services, as well as private lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
High school to adult. Prefer to work with career-focused adults, students investigating careers in college and behind, or adults seeking real-world keyboard and music skills.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently worked with pre-college student to guide him towards choosing a college, and beginning his composition career.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who will help you learn exactly what you want to know. There is no time to waste taking mindless piano lessons learning material you'll hate. A music life should be fun, and maybe even profitable. Find a teacher who will work with you on what you want to do,
