Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to teach a private lesson for one hour the first time to get to know the student and her or his horse. Then I'm happy to work with a group for about one hour to one and one half hour. I prefer the group to have no more than 4 or 5 riders at a time. The farm where I'll teach should have there own jumps and a person who will be able to help me set them up.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive teaching credentials, as well as a Ph.D in Psychology.

What types of students have you worked with?
I've taught riders from Short Stirrup to the Grand Prix level and everything in between. I work with children and adults. I teach people who love their horses/ponies and have a real desire to lean. I help riders reach THEIR goals.... I've reached my own as a rider, teacher and judge. I have no ego involved. My goal is to help riders reach their own goals!
