Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what skills they already have and then I show them a sample and demonstrate the process before they begin. Then, they work on their own and I supervise and help with the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mainly self taught.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Price varies depending on the subject lesson and materials. It can vary from $15 to $50 a session. I don't usually work by the hour, but gage a general hour to two hour window per lesson.
However, there are some projects that require more time due to drying, steps involved, etc. These lessons would follow into a second or more sessions, once again...all depends on what the subject is and level of involvement.
How did you get started teaching?
Over 30 years ago as a guest teach in elementary classroom.
What types of students have you worked with?
From kiddos to Seniors
