Courtney McLean Piano Studio

The Courtney McLean Piano Studio offers private piano lessons to students of ages 3 and above in Aventura and surrounding areas. All levels of ability are welcome from beginners to advanced. Lessons are comprised of weekly or twice per week 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions. Opportunities to perform in local and state competitions, recitals and social events are available.

Courtney McLean is a classically trained pianist who specializes in teaching both children and adults how to play the piano. A Miami native, she has studied piano since the age of 7 with world-renown professors in Miami, Madrid and Glasgow. In addition to a diploma from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, which she received while studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, she holds degrees from Stetson University and Florida International University where she received a Masters in Piano Performance under the tutelage of Croatian pianist Kemal Gekić. Her students have performed in local and state competitions/evaluations including the Florida Federated Music Clubs Festival, Dade County Youth Fair, Barry University's Ivory Palms Piano Festival and the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program. Courtney has been teaching piano privately for 15 years.
