About
I've been teaching painting and craft classes for nearly a decade, and have been a passionate crafter all my life. My classes are laid back and fun. I provide all the materials and even the tables and chairs if needed. I strive to make it a stress-free fun event for all.
I love bringing out the creativity in others by showing them how to make something they didn't know they could do. And I love seeing the joy on their face when they love what they created.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I create projects in line with current trends and that will be fun for a group setting. The projects I select can be done by anyone and are meant to be completed in one class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I founded the Palm Harbor Creative Arts Center in 2017 and taught classes until the pandemic started in 2020. I teach group classes on a variety of arts and crafts. Some of the classes I've taught include macrame projects, canvas painting, mosaics, dreamcatchers, and "hand" knitting. I also enjoying unique crafts made with modeling clay such as canvas art and decorative bottles.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I set a specific price per person for each project and I provide all of the materials. Project prices vary depending on the cost of materials. I can also provide tables and chairs if needed.
How did you get started teaching?
I've been a life-long craft lover. In the 90's I created floral crafts and sold them at craft shows. In 2014 I took up canvas painting and it quickly became a passion. That led to painting parties for friends, which led to group classes and eventually to opening the Palm Harbor Creative Arts Center.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, male and female.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
At the Palm Harbor Creative Arts Center, we held numerous events centered around creative arts, yoga and meditation. My favorite classes were the Zen Retreats where we began with a group meditation, then created jewelry and painted mini mandalas while sipping mimosas and enjoying snacks. Always a wonderful group event.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you're looking for a way to release your creativity and learn something new while having fun in a stress free flow... I would love to serve you!
If you are seeking to study fine art in a more formal setting, I wouldn't be the right instructor for you.
