Gator Junior Golf Association provides professional golf instruction in Alachua and Marion Counties, FL. We are based at Gainesville Country Club and also provide instruction at Ironwood Golf Course, Turkey Creek Golf Course, Mark Bostick Golf Course, and Juliette Falls Golf Course. We are focused on providing high-quality golf instruction at affordable prices for all ages and skill levels. Our mission is to Grow the Game, and we've succeeded in expanding to 5 golf courses across 2 counties in North Florida. We have a 5-level Player Development Program that introduces students to the game, rules and etiquette, the golf courses, golf theory, tournament play, and competition.
We have a passion for teaching youth golfers and want to make the game of golf both affordable and accessible.
We have succeeded in expanding our program to 5 locations in Gainesville, Alachua, and Dunnellon, FL.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer free student evaluations to place them in one of our 5 Player Development Program levels.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors are local Head Professionals or are PGA or USGTF certified golf professionals. We have 3 PGA Class A instructors, 1 USGTF Associate Instructor, and 4 Head Professionals on staff.

Our classes are 10 weeks for only $150.
How did you get started teaching?
We began teaching a handful of Beginner golf classes at West End Golf Course in 2017. Since then, we've expanded to 5 locations and recruited the most experienced and talented golf professionals in the area.
What types of students have you worked with?
We've worked with students from ages 4-17, including advanced tournament players. We also work with the Special Olympics of Alachua, Shands Children's Hospital, Reichert House, and Girl's Place.
