Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1st we'll set up a fitness assessment to find out what your goals are. Then we'll create an action plan with a timeline and get started right away!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been training in Martial Arts since I was 6 years old! I am currently a 6th Degree Black Belt Master Instructor for the ATA (American Taekwondo Association). I am also a Black Belt in Warrior Kickboxing and Krav Maga (Israeli Self-Defense). I've taught students as young as 2 years old all the way up to 70 years old! It's never too late to start training!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I currently can offer Group Training Sessions or Private Level Sessions. Pricing is custom and depends on your goals and training frequency.
How did you get started teaching?
At 19 years old I was hired at my Martial Arts School. The rest is pretty much history!
What types of students have you worked with?
All types. Ages range from 2 to 70 years old! I also have experience teaching ADHD, Autistic, and Deaf Students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There are actually too many to list within the past 20+ years. But my favorite moments are when my students achieve their goals!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Check out the instructor and try a class.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is it that you really want to achieve? Is it a SMART (Specific, Motivating, Achievable, Relevant, Trackable) goal? Are you willing to do everything it takes to achieve those goals? Are you willing to take positive correction to change for the better?
