My service stands out because of my understanding of the process involved in improving someone's golf game and the amount of extra time I will devote toward each student. Including everything from studying lesson videos to making lesson plans, I go above and beyond other instructors to make sure we get it right and we see the results students are looking for.
I have been a golf instructor for over thirteen years in the Jacksonville area, and my passion for my work continues to grow. One of the things I enjoy most is getting to meet so many different people every day and learning about each person's journey not only in golf but in life. I also really enjoy the challenge in identifying problems in someone's golf game, finding the correct solution to the problems, and seeing the excitement someone has when they start to improve on those problems.
Stephen is very approachable and easy to work with. Mixed traditional teaching with modern technology to get his instruction across in a way that’s easily understood.
Stephen was great at explaining and demonstrating things in several different ways. He also recorded my swing and took the time to email me the video and a summary of the things to work on during practice between lessons.
When working with a new student, we start by discussing the student's goals, expectations and their overall knowledge of the game. We then take a look at the student's golf skills and evalutate the student's golf swing. Finally, we make a lesson plan together that is tailored to the student's goals, abilities, and the amount of time the student has to dedicate toward practice.

My passion for teaching golf started when I was a student at the University of Florida. Working with the men's golf team and trying to find the best way to repeat a golf swing became something I loved.

Communication between the student and instructor is really important. Make sure that you are comfortable with the way the instructor is explaining what he wants you to do and that you understand the instructor.
The most important question to ask yourself before hiring a golf instructor is what do you want to accomplish by taking the lesson. If the instructor has a clear picture of what your goals are, he can help you make a realistic lesson plan help you obtain those goals.
