Spanish Lessons With Native Speaker
About
Hola! I'm a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I have a Spanish teaching certificate and have been teaching Spanish for over 5 years.
I have lived in many different countries and I am very passionate about traveling and immerging myself in new cultures. As I have learned different languages myself, I understand the process of learning another language and adapting to new cultures.
I believe that the student should be the center of the class. Since not everyone learns the same way, the teacher needs to get to know her students and adapt the lessons to each of them.
Teaching is my passion and a year ago, after working in marketing for many years I decided to quit my marketing job and teach full time. I love seeing the progress of my students and the satisfaction they feel when they are able to communicate in Spanish. I like sharing my experiences with others and learning about theirs.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually like to take about 30 minutes before classes start to get to know my student a little and also for my student to get to know me. I find this very useful for planning lessons since I will be able to make the themes and examples more relatable to my student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Spanish Teaching certificate from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Spain
