You may want to learn Conversational Spanish for travelling, dating, around town, or even missionary work purposes, to name a few examples.  I work with all levels, and ages. Next we will have a Free Breakthrough Strategy session, where we discuss your goals, background, needs and desires for learning Spanish.  When I know what your need is, I can design your customized program.  At this point, you  purchase the initial Brainwave Entrainment audio to prepare and enhance your subconscious mind to receive and learn your new language, Spanish.  You listen to it at least 4 days prior to our first Spanish lesson, and nightly.  During each session, a recording is made for your use to practice daily, in-between sessions. I was born in Puerto Rico of native Spanish-speaking parents, who graduated from the University of PR and other Universities in the States, so mom and dad were bilingual.

I came to the States at 1 yr. old, learned both languages simultaneously, and began school formerly in English.  At 9 yrs. old, my family returned to PR, where I was enrolled in a bilingual private school, from 4th grade to 12th grade of a College Prep high school, where I had to learn a third language because English or Spanish did not count as a second language.  I chose French, and won the honors award for 2 years.

I later attended the University of PR for 2 years, where all my courses, (including Spanish classes), were in Spanish. The only English there, was in my Honor’s English class, which I aced.  

I left PR again, as an adult, studied and graduated from Georgia State University, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, attended the Medical College of Georgia, for Physical Therapy; and graduated from Broward Community College in Florida, with an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration & Management. I held a license in Massage Therapy for 15 yrs. in Florida, and a National Certification in Biofeedback, specializing in Neuromuscular Re-education for 12 years.  I used my bilingual skills when treating patients, and to translate for Doctors, co-worker Therapists, and patients in the office and clinic, where I worked.  I am a Real Estate investor, in Puerto Rico and in the States. And am a Certified Private Money Broker for Real Estate transactions nationwide.  I have immersed myself in Personal Development for 14 yrs., and have been a Certified Master Life Coach the past 6 yrs.

I have many different fields of knowledge in both languages, English and Spanish, and as a Coach, have the skills to guide and assist people to improve themselves, their lives, their businesses, including learning a second language.

My first students were my children.  I spoke to them in both languages, and as they grew I bought special educational videos, books, and computer applications for them to learn Spanish first, and then English. I also exposed them to Italian, since their father has Italian descendance. I am now teaching my granddaughter; who is now bilingual, at age 5.  At present she is learning past tense verbs. As she speaks, I correct and teach the new word. I have taught her both languages simultaneously as I learned them myself.

Outside of the family, I began teaching by request.  Learning a language as an adult is far more challenging than as a baby growing up.  That is when I put together my brain entrainment audio program to overcome those challenges, and facilitate speaking the language, which is an essential part of knowing a language.

Ask about their educational background.  How did they learn Spanish and English?  Was it only in school, or were they in the country, where the language is spoken?  It’s better if they were immersed in the language when they learned it.  How do they express themselves here on the website, in writing?  Do they sound professional? 

Primarily, you should be clear, of why you want to learn Spanish. Your purpose should be a strong “why”, to carry you through times when you don’t feel like practicing. Tell me at what level of Spanish you are, as you are entering this course. Is it beginner, intermediate, or advanced?

Ask yourself the following questions, and write your answers down, in print:

Why do I want to learn Spanish?  What benefit does it bring me?  For what am I going to be using Spanish?  How soon will I need to speak Spanish?  To whom and with whom will I speak?  Do I have opportunity to use Spanish frequently?  Am I willing to follow instructions, and do my homework, and carve out the time to learn something that I really desire?   Do I have the financial resources to take six to nine months or a year of lessons, so I don't quit before reaching my goals?  How will knowing Spanish improve my life?  Will I get a promotion at work, or get a better job for being bilingual? (Probably yes!!)  Will knowing Spanish, benefit those around me?  What goal can I achieve better or faster by knowing Spanish?  Do I need Conversational Spanish, for normal life situations, like dating, travelling, or missionary work; or a more technical Spanish to communicate for Business, Finance, Real Estate, or Medical purposes?

I can tell you that in my life’s experience, I have benefited thousands and thousands of people that I was able to help, in one situation or another, where they could not speak English, or vice versa, they could not speak Spanish; and I knew both Spanish and English.  You never know, who you can benefit!  God will reward you, you can count on it!
