I played professional tennis and I love to teach and share my experience with my students. For a beginner student I show them the right technique , I think this is very important for someone to advance and enjoy the game.
Tennis is my live . I enjoy playing and by teaching what I learned I feel I give back to other people that can benefit from this great sport

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I introduce myself and I ask questions to get a better idea in what stage is the student. I decide then what I need to teach them.

I like to be fair to all my clients so my rate is the same for everyone.
How did you get started teaching?
I played Davis Cup for Cuba. In 1994, I escape from Cuba and ask for political exile. Since I lost my ranking, I had to stop playing professional so I started teaching professional players for three years. I am still working as a teaching pro at a local club.

Juniors and adults of all level types
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I continued to play the national senior tournaments and I have represented the USA at The ITF world championship.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The only advise that I give to my students is to search for the teaching pro credentials.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I will advise them to feel free to ask anything about tennis. I would mention any type of medical problems if they feel the coach should know.
