About
I enjoy teaching/coaching golfers of all ages. I love creating new relationships and getting golfers on the course with their friends having a great time while also achieving their goals. I work with beginning juniors all the way up to advance experienced juniors as well as adults of all ages. Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In my first session with a student I like to run them through my personal way of evaluating their current skill level. First, I like to hear about the students Golf experience from their point of view and learn about any physical limitations they may have that I need to be aware of to get started. Next, I like to run them through a series of activities to asses their short game ability, full swing, and on course knowledge. This will help us to formulate a game plan for improvement and how to structure the lessons moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Class "A" PGA Golf Professional and have been teaching adults and children of all ages for 10 years. I like to take a "keep it simple" approach to my teaching methods but also use new mindsets and teaching technology to benefit the learning process. Also, I am certified in the American Development Model teaching method. This model helps me to not only develop golfers but also develop better performing athletes in all parts of life. I use OnForm slow motion video capture along with Flightscope launch monitor technology to help the learning and improvement process. I also, utilize the Operation 36 development model to help students excel on the golf course and transfer their abilities to the field where it counts.
