The Oasis

I have been training people for their equine adventures, certified in both pleasure and competitive, English or western for over 2 decades. I love what I do! It's amazing for me to see horse and rider have break thrus and be able to grow In a safe and positive forward progression. I honestly feel that was why I was put here is to share my life time of knowledge and expertise with those just desiring to one day feel what it feels like to be a willing partner with this magnificent creature.

When I originally became a trainer I did it with the thought that I was doing it for the horse. I rationalized if I could turn out safe, knowledgeable riders it would benefit the horse but what I came to find out was how much I learned. I had ridden since before I could walk and until I had to break it down to those that had maybe never even touched a horse, I took for granted how difficult this sport at any level can be. Odd to say, I'm sure but I came to love the equestrian. I saw day in and day out their dedication, efforts and their challenges and w hard work and their desire to improve, their successes. My proudest moment would be watching their smile when their had break thrus. Definitely what my job is all about, from a smooth, safe transition in speed to a gold ribbon. I truely feel honoured to be apart of their journey.
