How did you get started teaching?
I found the fitness benefits first hand and when I decided to enter the fitness industry it was a natural fit. I have enjoyed teaching and having fun with other individuals which made my transfer into the industry 17 years ago a natural fit.
What types of students have you worked with?
I enjoy clients new to the idea of trying boxing fitness as a way to improve their personal fitness and coordination. People that are committed to their personal fitness goals and willing to learn. No stuffed shirts:) We want to enjoy our time together. After all it's already a work out so why not find a way to enjoy the time.

I enjoy watching clients discover achievements that they never experienced or didn't expect from themselves.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be committed to working hard, disciplined to their appointments, and stubborn against giving up.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Their commitment to the time and effort that they are willing to put in to physically getting better.
Outside of this, think through what is realistic; the patience required to meet their goals and the commitment to making the appointed session times each week.
