About

I have over 12 years of piano teaching experience with students ranging from the age of 5 to adults (grown-ups rarely reveal their ages). I have taught students who took up piano for regular study as well as for therapeutic reasons. I have also conducted group music lessons for preschoolers in Broward County (which brings with it not just experience with the young, but also finger-printing and background checks).

I successfully completed my performer’s certificate from the Trinity College of Music, London, while preparing youngsters for their examinations with TCM as well.

In addition, I have been working for an educational music publisher for the last decade immersed in the best educational materials in the country, most of which is utilized in my teaching.

Frequently asked questions

My first lesson is to determine the level at which the student is currently at, their aptitude and learning ability. This lesson is typically complimentary and helps me determine the material I need to use to keep the students interest while imparting the best knowledge. Second lesson onwards is fully paid and the start of a wonderful journey together into the world of music.

I have successfully completed my Performers Certificate from the Trinity College of Music, London and have taught piano to students of all ages and abilities for over 12 years.

First lesson is complimentary after which it is $30 for each 30 minute session. Payments are due before the first lesson of each 4-week period.

I started teaching while I was still studying piano and voice.

I have worked with children as young as 5 years old and adults in their 30s (adults rarely reveal their ages), students who studied music to pursue their passion as well as students who took up piano as a form of therapy.

I was recently teaching a group music lesson at a preschool and as I walked in to the room to conduct my second session, the kids got all excited and yelled "Yay, music class!!!". That is a moment I will truly treasure. It was spontaneous and made me realize how mutually enjoyable these lessons are.

Find someone who is truly dedicated to their craft, not just for the money but because they are passionate about it.

1. Why do I want to learn the piano?

2. Am I willing to put in the time and effort to better myself every week?

3. Do I have access to a piano/keyboard? If not, can I purchase or lease one till I'm sure I want to continue?
