What is your typical process for working with a new student?
when working with a new student, I will do a quick evaluation to see where they are at in their skill. I will then find areas that we can work on and create drills and fun games for them to do.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had almost 18 years of experience in soccer. I have worked with many programs, and have had previous experience as a player on a collegiate team myself.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $50 per hour, and $80 for an hour and a half.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching in high school, when I began to give private lessons to family and friends.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with younger children, mostly in elementary school to high school.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I have participated in is summer camp at Fort Lauderdale FC. At these camps, we do skill sessions, shooting games, and scrimmages.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Advice I would offer is to find a teacher who has experience. If a coach does not have much experience, it is hard to be consistent with drills and receive the proper feedback needed to grow as a player.
