About

For the past seven years I have tutored a variety students of all ages. I predominantly focus on helping students in the math/ science while also emphasizing help for students in the IB Program. In addition, I have focused on tutoring for standardized test like the SAT, ACT, IB subject test, and other mathematics/ science test. With a develop study plan, study tools, guides, and tricks I have helped students advance and improve scores. I have helped hundreds of students achieve better grades, greater standardized scores (SAT, ACT, AP, & IB) and healthier study habits. I continue to collaborate with parents and teachers to identify students’ weaknesses while helping them improve scores and grades.

Personally I have played basketball for 14 years. As a graduated basketball player from Robinson High School, and an University of Florida Men's Competitive League Team player, I continue to play the game of basketball. With tricks, tool, skills, trainings, and techniques I can perfect your game.

As a student in the University of Florida I would like to share my knowledge by offering tutoring services to kids of all ages. I offer tutoring and mentoring services for K-12th grade students in multiple mathematics and science areas. I have studied and succeeded as one of the top students in the Robinson IB Program (Salutatorian). As one of the top students in Hillsborough County High Schools and a Neuroscience Research Assistant at the University of Florida, I hope to guide students who are on the path to success. I teach all math/ science subjects taught at the high school and undergraduate level, with regularly scheduled 1-2 hour online increments and face to face session during summer, fall, winter, and spring breaks.

In basketball, I love to help athlete gain their full potential with my tricks, tips, and skills. I teach experienced footwork, techniques, and necessary skills to slow down and perfect the game.

    Frequently asked questions

New students will take one day to explain what they wish to work on. I usually assess their skills and ability to master topics with questions and tests. With one to two sessions, I usually have a game plan and am ready to work with my student. Once a game plan is set regular meetings are set up for students and we study speicfic topics or answer speciifc questions. Students in need of support can alway rely on me for fast and accurate answers.

As a teaching assistant in high school and college (Univeristy of Florida/ Robinson High School), a STEM mentor for Alachula County Middle Schools (Positive Feedback), a swim coach for students with Autism (YMCA Splash Pals), a basketball coach (i9 sports/ CSU basketball), and a private tutor (Math/ Science) I have worked with hundred of students of all ages as they move forward in their dreams.

    Elementary-Middle School (K-8th): $25 / hour

I am ready to teach a wide range of subjects as listed below. I can start with a lecture style format if the student desires to start from scratch, or a question answer session for students with prepared questions. I utlize tricks, tips, techniques, tools, and interactive learning methods essential for effective learning. Using these tricks are key to a increasing scores and can be benefitial for students in hopes of increasing grades. These skills are applicable to all students with all needs.

    Topics include:

    •Elementary Mathematics  • Pre-Algebra (Standard/ Honors) • Algebra 1 (Standard/ Honors) • Algebra 2 (Standard/ Honors) • Geometry (Standard/ Honors)          • IB Mathematics • IB Chemistry • IB Biology • AP Calculus AB/ BC • AP Chemistry • Collegiate Chemistry 1 & 2 • Collegiate Biology 1 & 2 • SAT Mathematics • SAT Subject Test • Mu Alpha Theta (MAO) Tests  • Preparation for future classes

As a teacher and mentor I have worked with a wide range of students. I have helped students in the from k-8th, high school IB program, high school AP class, traditional honors program, and up to the undergraduate level. In addition, I also have alot of experience with students with autism, ADHD, short-term memory, and many other neurological deficiencies. While working with a wide range of students I have been able to gain many useful experiences, while changing students lives.

Currently, as a microbiology and neuroscience major I am found of COVID-19 and the race to find its cure. I hope as a current scientist, I can be an influence for the future development and cure. At the Univeristy of Florida, I am working on the development of pharmaceutical cures for Alzhiemer's and am confident that I will be an infleuntial part the team to find its cure. Science and innovation interests me and I hope to pass on my dreams and ideas to the youth.

If hiring a teacher in math, science, or STEM, I recommend the teacher has experience in the field, has experience teaching the subject to a variety o ages groups, and is able to teach at a lower level. Many teachers try to teach at a level much higher than a students ability to understand and many make it hard and uninteresting. I hope to make every subject seem easy, and interact with students at their will, I want to make math and science interesting while teaching at a level right for everyone. As a teacher, I have been taught studnets with a wide variety of backgrounds and as an author for childrens maganizes/ medical journals I have elarned hwo to phrase ideas and concepts that cater everyones needs.

Students are free to talk to me about goals, school, or anything on their mind, in hopes of getting on the right track. Nothing should stop them from coming to me for help!
