After a successful career in marketing, design and sales, I have found my passion in sharing and instructing others in Painting, Drawing, Colored Pencil, Illustration and design basics that will provide a wealth of knowledge for fine art lovers AND creative thinkers in all disciplines, including communication design. I have won several local fine art awards in Ohio and Florida. In my marketing career, a specialty pen design of mine won an International Clio Award. I first assess the student’s current ability and ask the student about their goals. Each student has a specialized schedule of instruction .

a 4-year degree in graphic design and illustration
30-year career in communication and graphic design

25 years experience in fine art (pastels and oils)

How did you get started teaching?
When I moved to Florida I started teaching oil painting and colored pencil at Beach Art Center. I now teach in my studio.
