I have worked with students of all ages and abilities. From preschool to mature students, students with disabilities etc.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There are far to many to share! I did recently get a donation for my students who are economically disadvantaged to participate in painting the NoMad Bus on campus next week. Looking forward to the event!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
More important than the type of art the create is personality and character. If you respect the teacher you will learn, if there is not mutual respect learning is nearly impossible. Go with a teacher you feel comfortable with and who you respect.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
the time they are willing to invest and their goals.
