About
My service stands out for a number of different reasons. It stands out because I drive to all of my student's homes. Every lesson that a student takes with me will be done in the comfort and convienance of their own home. I am also classicaly trained. Furthermore, when students take lessons with me, I help them not only learn an instrument, but I help them accomplish their goals that come alongside learning a musical instrument. Whether it be learning a paticular genre of music, or learning a particular song that the student is fond of, I am available to help the student master what it is that they are looking to master.
My favorite part about doing what I do is to see the growth that takes place in my students. When I see a student go from a person that has no idea how to play a musical instrument grow into an accomplished musician it reminds me why I do what I do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I like to sit down with the student and find out their goals when it comes to piano, guitar, drums, and music in general. I find out what genres they are passionate about and songs that they would like to learn. I then direct my approach to teaching with this frame in mind. I have found this approach to be more succesful for my students because it makes learning the music more enjoyable and fun. It also helps create long term success for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional musician for the past ten years and have been teaching music extensively for the past eight years. My major concentration is in piano but I also teach guitar, bass, and drums. I was classicaly trained as a pianist for a number of years but shortly after, I started to learn and master the guitar, bass, and drums. I have also had the privledge to serve at Cypress Creek Church as the music director for the past four years. Through this position, I have had weekly training in guiding and directing musicians on how to execute music on the stage.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard price for a 30 minute session is 22 dollars. I charge. I charge in either 1,3, or 6 month intervals. This price includes driving charges as I drive to all of my student's homes for their lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started in teaching when I started playing in a church professionally. I offered my services to the people in the congregation and recieved my first few students in the church. Ever since then, I started my own company and even partnered with a local music store and helped in teaching some of their students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students. I have worked with students as young as four years old to as old as 74 years old. I have worked with students that have disabilities such as ADHD and ADD. I have worked with students that have arthirtis and even tourettes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say to look for a teacher that is not only highly knowledgable in music and is skilled at their craft but to find someone that wants to serve the student. I would say that they need to find someone that will help them accomplish the goals that they want to accomplish for themselves.
