After 90 minutes of the first lesson, they will have a piece of work that they be very proud of,.. and ready to try another,.. and another. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with basic landscapes to learn the correct use of brush and how paint works. Composition and atmospheric perspective is explained and worked into a painting. Later we work into the lessons a knowledge of warm and cool temperatures of color and how to effectively use them..
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A BFA in Fine Art from Atlanta College of Art. Class of 1986
