King Kreations PCS
About
I graduated summa cum laude with an Associates of Arts Degree with a concentration in Baking and Pastry from The International Culinary Schools at the Art Institute of Atlanta (AIA) in spring 2010 and was the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and Outstanding Excellence Award. I am a certified culinarian (CC) and certified pastry culinarian (CPC) through the American Culinary Federation (ACF). During my studies at AIA, I assisted world-renowned pastry chef Susan Notter, prepared meals for the USO, assisted in an elaborate buffet for an AIA Alumni dinner, assisted with a Teens Can Cook event, and food and wine tastings.
Now I enjoy taking all of that knowledge and sharing it with my students. I have a passion for teaching people the joy of cooking, baking, and cake decorating. I thriv off of their excitement as they learn a different technique and learn how to add their own flair to their "kreations". I bring fun to my cooking classes, and I'm a humble chef who's looking forward to serving and teaching you.
I like the flexibility and meeting new people while helping them eat well-balanced meals and teaching them how easy it is to cook/bake.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We have a phone consultation discussing what it is they'd like to learn. I design menus from which they can choose. Shoot over the menu for approval. Setup the class date. Shop and meet the student for class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a former Wilton Method of Cake Decorating teacher, and I have a degree in culinary arts.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Prices range in different rates based on what type of cuisine the student wants to learn as well as how many entrees and sides are needed.
How did you get started teaching?
After taking a test years ago, I found out that I have the gift for cooking, baking, and teaching. So, I went to culinary arts school to develop my gifts, and while in school and after completing it, I deployed my gifts.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of people. I've taught as entertaining for bridal showers, team building, and of course individuals such as moms or even couples gatherings.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
PLEASE keep in mind that food's the main supply for culinary classes, so prices in classes will vary.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
PLEASE keep in mind food cost when it comes to culinary classes. Food is the main ingredient, if you will, for classes and the reason some classes cost more than others.
