CJack Guitar Lessons

My name is Christian Jackson, a native of Columbia, SC, I'm a musician, composer, arranger, private guitar/bass instructor, and a graphic designer who resides in Atlanta, GA. I currently lead The Path Church Band at the B.E.S.T. Academy (Bankhead ATL) and teach private guitar/bass lessons at the East Point Christian Church (East Point, GA) as well. I've been playing acoustic/electric guitar for 15 years, bass for 13 years, percussion for 14 years, and composing music for 7 years. In November of 2015, I received The Akademia Music Award (based in Los Angeles, CA) for my song that I composed back in 2011, entitled 'Funk to the Max.' My single has been playing on 20 different radio stations on rotation for listener response/feedback in 20 different cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Miami, Boston, London, Paris, Rome, Manila, Phoenix, Shanghai, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, Philadelphia, Tampa, Cape Town, Mumbai, Seoul, Bangkok, Toronto, Atlanta, Sao Paulo, Lagos, & Sydney) since December of 2015. Throughout high school I was involved in Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and Pit Orchestra. Even though I've been performing and writing music for a lot of years, I believe there is still room for growth as far as entering the music industry. Others would describe me as a very dedicated and considerate individual who has a passion for music and the arts. For my guitar/bass students, I start off with basic concepts such as tuning, proper technique, and major/minor scales before I dive into the complex material. As musicians, I believe that we should strive to be unified along with being a positive influence to the next generation in order to make a big impact in the music industry locally, nationally, and internationally.
