What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We will conduct an initial consultation to determine goals and the best plan for achieving them. This will include work during and outside of training sessions, including nutrition counseling.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been training individuals and groups since 1996. My current certifications include:

CrossFit L1
CrossFit Kids
CrossFit Olympic Lifting


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My single session rate is $70 per session. Monthly plans are less per session and vary depending on how many visits per week.


How did you get started teaching?

I took my lifelong love of athletics as well as my interest in overall fitness since I was a kid and decided to pursue these passions back in 1996. Training individuals and groups has been my full time career since 1997.


What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. I have also trained all ages, from young kids to adult seniors.


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Go with someone who genuinely cares about your results and helping you make fitness a part of your lifestyle, long after you are done working with your trainer.


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Think about both your short and long term goals. Also, how bad do you want to achieve them. As humans, it's a big leap for most of us to make a change in our lives and there is always an excuse to put things off. Think about how bad you want it and if you are willing to find whatever it takes to make it happen.
