About
I am a former college basketball player and now basketball coach at WCMS who has a passion for developing kids to be the best basketball player they can be. I also want to help develop character and work ethic that will help them be successful in life.
We bother played four years of college basketball at Truett-MCConnell University. We also have a bachelors degree in middle grades education.
I enjoy the basketball skill building process and the relationships that come from training or coaching. I love to see students get better and develop more skills, confidence, and work ethic.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what they want to get better on first. I then put them through a workout with basic drills to get a understanding on where they are at and then develop a play around what they want and what I think needs to be worked on. What is worked on and planned is communicated to player and parent.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years of basketball experience and 6 years of coaching experience. All the basketball drills I use are drills I have either done myself when I still played basketball or they are from firmer college coaches of mine. I do not claim to know everything about basketball, but I have been learning and playing basketball my whole life and I can develop players to be better then they were.
