About
Yoga is not a one size fits all. Yes, there is a type of yoga for every body. But not every type of yoga is for EVERY body. I like to individually assess each clients needs, concerns, and goals they want to obtain from their practice. I make sure every client feels, comfortable, confident, and can feel the progress they are making; both inside and out.
I enjoy being able to reflect back to each client their own gifts. As if I’m holding a mirror to show them how valuable, unique, and important they are. We all have this inside of us, sometimes it takes another to help clear out the doubt and beliefs that are blocking us from seeing and living our potential.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assessing their intentions for their yoga practice. Intention is everything and can be as unique as each individual. Some begin a practice to improve the physical appearance of their body. Others want to improve their flexibility. Some want to work through an injury, while another may desire a more spiritual experience. It’s important that I know what you want to achieve with your practice and that I’m aware of any sensitive areas you’d like to focus on or avoid.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have yoga teacher training. I’ve been teaching and a member of yoga alliance for 5 years. I work with private clients. I volunteer at shelters. I’ve worked with elderly homes and I also teach at gyms. I have training and experience with clients of all needs, shapes, and ages.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard class is $15. I offer packages with price discounts. I also have private lessons at $40/hr or in packages of 3 for $100.
How did you get started teaching?
Yoga has been a part of my life for 25 years in my own practice. Anytime I’m having a struggle, I turn to my mat and always find relief.
I decided to take my take my training when I realized the profound healing my practice had on me while going through a difficult divorce. That experience led me to realize how many people I could truly help by turning what could be a turbulent time in their lives Into a blessing in disguise and a new chapter in their life.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of students. I’ve worked with athletes, football players, children, and the elderly. Most people that come to me simply want to have an experience that improves the way they feel.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Every class provides me with a heartfelt experience. I notice students sitting a little taller, feeling more confident about who they are. My favorite moments are when I see a student nail a pose they’ve been struggling with before. Their smile is not because they were trying to impress others, but it comes from the inside. I see a light shine from the inside out. That is what I live for. That is why I teach.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise them to be completely transparent about what they want. Are they coming for a gym class and want to sweat, or to honor themselves and get closer to who they are inside. Also, that they completely disclose any areas of concern, surgeries, or warnings that their doctors have given them.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
There’s no need to overthink. Be yourself, be honest, express your needs and hold nothing back.
