Lambdin's Guitar Lessons

I have a passion for sharing with others what I have learned through formal and informal study, practice, and performance over the last 32 years. Early on, I cut my teeth on the Blues and then progressed to study practice, and perform Classical and Jazz guitar formally in college as a Music Performance major. In terms of live performance, I have spent many years primarily playing Rock, Country, and Blues music along with their subgenres. I would love to help students learn and cultivate the necessary knowledge and skills to play these styles of music and their subgenres. In addition, I have a good working knowledge of music theory and its application to the guitar (fretboard theory) along with guitar-specific skills such as utilizing and executing flat-picking, hybrid-picking, and fingerstyle techniques among other guitar-specific techniques. I am well-versed in both Electric and Acoustic guitar. Ultimately, my goal is to help students learn and understand music theory concepts and fundamentals and apply those concepts and fundamentals to the guitar and to the styles of music they wish to play.

I enjoy cutting through all the mystery and obscurity that surrounds learning music theory and the art of guitar by sharing with others the necessary foundational knowledge in tandem with secrets, tips, and tricks. It is very rewarding to see others become enlightened and skilled at what they wish to play.
