About
Want to learn classical piano, we do that. Want to learn classical voice, we do that. Want to learn to play or sing jazz, we do that. Want to sing or play a song that is special to you, we do that. Want to learn to sing or play old-time or contemporary Christian music, we do that. Do you want to be prepared to accompany other instruments or singers, we do that. Want to do something with voice or piano not listed here, we probably do that, too!
I love making music. I believe making music is and should be fun!
I love working with people. I love teaching I have been doing both for 50 years. I always want to work myself out of a job! What a joy it is for a student to no longer need lessons because they can pick up a piece of music and figure out what to do with it all on their own. We have students from age 4 to over 80. Some come every week regular as rain. Others come occasionally for coaching. Some come for accountability - to make sure they practice. Some want to try something new. That's exciting, but if it doesn't work that's okay too. We can always switch gears, or take a break while you think it through.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Attending the recital of my grandson, a second-year viola student. What a joy to listen to stringed instruments and the improvement made from beginning lessons just three months ago. Hearing him express his love of making music! I hope I do the same for every student in my studio.
