We are a full service music store with a strong team of music instructors. We are very much a family and have been teaching together since 2008. All of our teachers have either university training or professional performance experience. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn.
Our music lessons aren't only about the lesson itself. We work hard to build a lifestyle with our students, so that they can see they are part of a community of musicians. It goes far beyond the lesson room. We enjoy seeing our students build life-long friendships with each other and learn how to experience music not just by themselves in a practice room but with each other in workshops and recitals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors either have degrees in music education or have ten plus years experience as a performer and music educator.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are $100 per month for four weekly 30 minute lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
Varies by instructor. I personally started teaching piano while attending the University of North Florida in 1993. I started teaching voice in 1998 when I became a professional jazz vocalist in Manhattan. I specialize in jazz and music theatre with voice and also classical piano.
What types of students have you worked with?
Young and old, at this point! It started with fellow college students, then singers who wanted to learn jazz. First Graders to retired accountants!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Last Sunday at Powers Ferry United Methodist. Being on the praise team is one of my favorite things.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you can laugh with your teacher. Music should make you laugh. It's a joyful thing to sing and play.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is it that you want to do with music? Do you want to play the Moonlight Sonata or sing a certain Taylor Swift song? Music is so personal it should be customized to YOU, not to your teacher or to anyone else.
