What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I find out if the student will want to sew professionally or for personal projects. I then teach the student how to use the machine, selecting fabric/ textiles and basic sewing machine stitches.

I am currently teaching an entrepreneur how to sew which will increase her sales and save her production fees.
I teach students how to use their Cricut machines.
I also enjoy teaching at Women’s Paint & Sip events.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask for photo samples of their work.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Sewing students must have a basic sewing machine to practice on.
