Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The journey starts with the initial conversation. I generally make an assessment of the student's goals, what they have learned previously and their current level of proficiency. I take this information and construct a lesson plan and make recommendations on study materials. Throughout the lessons, I make adjustments based on the student’s progress. The most important goal is for the students to SUCCEED!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The lessons are generally $40 dollars per lesson, per week. Student's can pay for each lesson weekly or pay monthly in advance.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching in college primarily because people asked. I started playing guitar around 5 years old and performed regularly around town. After taking several educational classes, student teaching and taking on leadership roles I realized it was something I truly enjoyed.
What types of students have you worked with?
My students range from Grammy Nominated professional touring musicians to complete beginners that have never played before.
