About
I'm a native Brazilian from the city of Curitiba, which is in southern Brazil. I received my degree in Letters in 1999 from the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana (PUC-PR). During my undergraduate study at PUC-PR, I took courses in the Portuguese language, Portuguese literature, Latin, Brazilian literature, English, as well as English literature.
I have taught Portuguese and English in public and private schools in the Curitiba area on two occasions since 1997.My resume includes teaching jobs at the Military Police School in Curitiba, the state high school of the Parana state in Curitiba and an elementary bilingual school. I also taught English for computer and administration courses at Tec-Puc, the high school affiliate of PUC-PR in Curitiba. I also teach online classes through Skype for private students.
My experience includes living the U.S. from 2003 to 2008. I lived in Atlanta, Georgia. In Atlanta, I taught Brazilian Portuguese to people interested in learning the language. I also attended an English class at Georgia Tech University. I currently live in Pensacola where I work as a Portuguese teacher for foreigners and English as a Second language.
