About
I provide a unique blend of a Technical Background (the science of golf) and Playing Background (the sport of golf). My communication style is very clear. I take a highly technical sport and explain it to each person according to their style of learning.
I am passionate about witnessing my students improve their games. I am amazed at all of the misconceptions out there and enjoy being the one to "turn their world upside down" when I clear things up.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Solve the biggest problems first. Usually it is the pivot of the body, or a wrong idea about how to hit the ball/swing the club.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Unique blend of technical educational degree/competitive playing experience/ability to bridge the two with great communication with student - has led me to become a very competent and experienced golf isntructor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$75/ 1 Hour Lesson. $275 / 4 - 1 Hour Lessons
How did you get started teaching?
Studied my own swing immensely in an effort to improve and that led me into situation where others sought my advice.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly beginner to intermediate students, but recently collegiate level players and a very limited number of professional level players.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Hearing that a student broke 80 for the first time and calling to thank me.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go speak with the teacher face to face. The teacher needs to be passionate about helping you and you will only sense that passion with a face to face meeting.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should have goals and desires communicated before the lessons start. I prefer a long term approach which allows us to build a solid foundation upon which to build proper fundamentals onto. If a student wants a "tuneup" then that needs to be communicated up front because the teaching style would change.
