Teachers had 10 year ballet dancing careers and this school has been training professionally oriented and hobby dancers since 1994.

How did you get started teaching?
We are former professional ballet dancers who have been teaching since 1994
What types of students have you worked with?
students begin as early as age 3, and we encourage life-long dancing with adult ballet and sr. fitness classes.
Some former students are professional ballet or modern dancers, but most are well-adjusted adults with a sense of grace and discipline that comes from ballet training as a youth. We have a family atmosphere that is encouraging of academic achievement, volunteering ethic and personal resiliance.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We only do an all school performance every 2 years that is basically a lecture demonstration. Very low-key with classroom attire and wild applause for everyone. It's about showing what you know, and beging proud of your progress.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Your teachers should have class sizes that allow them to give you the attention you deserve, and the skills that match your goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are you wanting most to get out of your training? Are you willing to commit the time and discipline needed to get the skills you need to get there? Is the program of the school you are looking at a good fit for you?
