What is your typical process for working with a new student?
To learn from the student what they want to accomplish so we can work together and meet that goal. Once we get the student practicing and shooting, I then offer a review of the images that need improvement as part of the lessson. Sort of learn from your mistakes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years photographic experience with my own fine art studio and I also provide photo presentation services for my customers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I use a standard hourly rate. Although most lessons run a little over an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
When people saw what I do photographically they always asked me how I did it and that let to me starting to teach. I have done fixed lessons with small groups but the individual lessons that I do now seem to work much better with the busy lifestyles of the students.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly adult beginning students with most using a DSLR although some have just wanted to learn using their smart phone.
