INGSOUNDS
About
I enjoy helping students find their own voice with the instrument. And, there's a million ways to approach this. There's no one way to learn. I like the process of discovering the way to get each student to where THEY want to go.
i've played guitar, working in the pop world since 1982. At around 1989, I started getting into Jazz. As I became more serious, I attended Eastern Illinois University in 1991. During this time, I joined forces with an alternative rock band, recorded two releases and toured regionally.
since 2001, I've been working with a horn-driven, classic R and B combo, TOFB.
Otherwise, I've also done pot orchestra work, played in a big band (Urbana, Il), and taught individuals.
From 2006-2008, I studied Jazz Guitar Performance at the graduate tree level at Weatern Illinois University.
