Marita Brake Guitar Lessons
About
My teaching approach:
You design your own lesson. Since you are paying for it, it seems appropriate that you have input into what your lessons will be about. Of course, we do have to cover major areas of learning, including understanding why certain chords go together, how to play and sing at the same time, writing your own songs and stage technique. We begin with your favorite artists.
My influences are:
Many and varied: The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Regina Spektor, Feist, Train, Alison Krauss, Eva Cassidy, PPand M, Django, Dave Van Ronk, Amy Grant, JJ Heller, John Denver, Robert Johnson, Corrine Bailey Raye, Avril, Pat Matheny, Michael Hedges.
